17-10 to 30-10

17-10 Reserva del Ibera - 4 hours walk to see deers and carpinchos.- One hour to try to find a supermarke. In fact it doesnt exist here... We just find a kiosko with bread and milk. It will be our brunch. Even our dinner!- They dont seem to know the existence...

Reserva del Ibera 1

Getting here is an adventure in itself. You reach it by travelling to the remote pampa city of Mercedes. Then you travel to a village within the reserve, which is only reachable by 120 km of dirt road. Still too much traffic for this frog Carpinchitos...

Parque El Palmar, part 1

After leaving Uruguay it's time for Nature with a big N. National park El Palmar is the first place we stayed for a couple of days to breathe some fresh air. In front of the Rio Uruguay. The man on the picture is in Argentina, the other side of the river...

Montevideo

The cool thing about the Urugayan capital is its name: Montevideo. Sounds beautiful, doesn't it? Well it has some atmosphere, but it is pretty run-down (in Dutch: 'afgeragd' ). We spent a day here.

From Uruguay to North Argentina

Hello everybody, To resume those last days, we were first in south Uruguay, Colonia de Sacramento. Then we went to Montevideo. Atferwards, a difficult trip to leave this country. To finally end in the Parque Nacional El Palmar, where we stayed 3 days....
