Parque El Palmar, part 1
After leaving Uruguay it's time for Nature with a big N. National park El Palmar is the first place we stayed for a couple of days to breathe some fresh air.
In front of the Rio Uruguay. The man on the picture is in Argentina, the other side of the river is Uruguay.
Indeed, the park is about palm trees. Those yatays once covered a large part of South-America.
Kwak! This monster was almost 15 cm.
Vizcacha. Hamster-rabbit of the size of a cat, making the sound of a pig. Keeps you awake while you're camping.
