Laguna Chico

This is the only region on earth with native Araucarias or monkey puzzle trees, which was until the seventies popular in Dutch frontyards. In nature, this tree can grow up to 45 meters in height and get several thousands of years old.

There are several species of insects that only live on the trunk of this tree.
